Senior Pastor, Bishop Jackie L. Wilson

Bishop Jackie L. Wilson embraced Christianity on September 7, 1975 under the leadership of Bishop William Crossley of the Greater Emmanuel Temple Church in Buffalo, NY. He was baptized in Jesus name and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. After walking with Christ for only 5 months, he received his calling into the gospel ministry in February 1976. Bishop Wilson has served in many leadership capacities from President of the Youth & Young Adult Choir and local Youth leader of the Greater Emmanuel Temple Church. He served as the Youth Chairman of the Northern District Unity Meeting for 4 years; New York State Young People’s Chairman for 4 years; and the International Pentecostal Young People’s Union Vice President for 4 years. He served as District Elder and member of the New York State Council Executive Board and presently serves on the Executive Board of the Pennsylvania State Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World under the leadership of the Honorable Diocesan, Bishop Ronald L. Young. He previously served as Vice Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Council. Bishop Wilson has served as a National Evangelist of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. since 1988 to present. He has conducted tent meetings, crusades and conferences. His powerful ministry has led him all over the United States of America as well as over the world. In 1997, he was directed of the Lord to return to his home city of Buffalo, NY to establish the Cathedral of Praise Ministries, Inc. In 2010, he received his honorary doctorate degree in theology from Aenon Bible College. His ministry thrust is to raise up leaders to take back our community, our cities and evangelize the world for Jesus with the Pentecostal Apostolic anointing.

Associate Pastor, Pastor Brenda Wilson

Pastor Brenda Wilson came to the Lord at a young age and has served for the last 31 years as a very dynamic, industrious, innovative, spiritual and praying woman in the Body of Christ. She received her training at the Greater Emmanuel Temple Church in Buffalo, NY under the late Bishop William Crossley and went on to study Religious Education at Liberty Bible College in Virginia and Aenon Bible College in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Brenda Wilson has the ability to minister on a personal, real-life level that helps her to reach all people no matter the age, gender or circumstances. Pastor Brenda has been used mightily in the healing ministry and many people have received supernatural healing and deliverance from a wide variety of debilitating and life-threatening diseases. Pastor Brenda is the Founder of “GAP Dwellers Intercessory Ministry” which focuses on teaching women how to pray and receive results. Pastor Brenda received her honorary doctorate degree in 2016 from National Bible Institute. When Pastor Brenda is not traveling and serving in ministry at COP, she works as a Designer and CEO of her own Fashion and Interior Design Company, Brenda Wilson Originals, LLC. She is the mother of three lovely children (Jerrel, Timothy and Christian Joy), all of whom are spirit-filled and serve the Lord in ministry.
